Conflict is a natural part of life. How we deal with conflict can determine whether our relationships survive and stay healthy. Sometimes it takes a mediator – a neutral third party – to step in to help the parties to see things more clearly and to help promote communication and healing.  Mediators are trained to assist people in conflict to develop options and find win/win solutions.  Parties must be willing to enter into mediation with an open mind and heart. Mediation is not appropriate if one party has abused the other. 

Mediation Services of Maui is open from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. Additionally, mediations can be held after hours and on Saturdays.  MSM mediates many different types of conflicts including neighborhood, condominium, school, work, or family. MSM also offers meeting facilitation, an extensive training program and a program for teens.
